Glenn trained at St Austell College and decided to pursue his career in Cornwall. He worked in several restaurants and hotels, most notable was The Wellhouse, St Keyne where he worked his way through the ranks and ultimately became Head Chef and retained the 3 rosettes that it had held for over twenty years.

Glenn went on to move to the Isles of Scilly working for Tresco Estates as Head Chef at Hell Bay Hotel, gaining 3 rosettes for this establishment, this led to him becoming the Development Chef for Tresco Estates and he looked after three restaurants on the island.

After ten years on the Isles of Scilly it was time to return to the mainland and Una St Ives seemed like the challenge that Glenn was looking for, so he accepted the Head Chef position in March 2017. At Una Glenn has launched a brand new restaurant that is proving to be very successful and have great plans for the future.
