We’re delighted to announce that Truro Food Festival will benefit from funding from the Government’s Cultural Recovery Fund #hereforculture This funding will allow our operating company ILOW to guarantee the employment of the team that runs the Festival through the winter months, enabling them to research, programme and promote how we can produce the most exciting but safe event for 2021 and beyond. Whilst this is a huge relief for us, our hearts go out to everyone who is still in desperate need of support. Big thanks to @aceagrams @dcmsarts @ukhmtreasury for supporting us. We hope to see you all in Truro next year! #artscouncil #culturalrecoveryfund #festivalfunding #cornwallevents #truro #hereforculture

It is with great sadness, amongst the ongoing situation with Covid-19 we must announce that Truro Food Festival which was due to take place 27-29 September will be cancelled. Last year we opened the festival for the very first time and we were so looking forward to a second year with you all. As always thank you for your ongoing support and we’re looking forward to seeing you next year. Dates for 2021 will be announced soon. Stay safe and see you next year, Truro Food Festival Commitee X

Thank you to everyone who donated or took part in the @trusselltrust raffle during Truro Food Festival. We raised £452 for the charity and all raffle prize winners have now been contacted. If you’d like to volunteer or read more about the Trussell Trust’s work please visit www.trusselltrust.org - they are a fantastic charity aiming to end hunger and poverty in the UK. Thank you 🙏

A big thank you to @irinitzortzoglou who opened the Chefs Theatre on Sunday. Irini is a fantastic chef and entertainer and I think you’ll agree her demo was fantastic. A well deserved winner of MasterChef. Irini travelled a long way from Cumbria to join us at Truro Food Festival and we couldn’t be more thankful. We will be posting Irini’s recipe on our website soon so look out for it! @st_austell_brewery
